Recognising and celebrating success in the renewables industry across both banks of the Humber.
The Humber has gained an enviable reputation as being the UK’s Energy Estuary and is at the forefront of the country’s zero-carbon ambitions. The Humber Renewables Awards 2023 are returning for their eleventh year and will recognise success, honouring firms large and small for doing their bit to make this area a fulcrum of green energy.The awards continues to attract a rising number of quality entrants and guests which proves that the region is truly becoming Britain’s Energy Estuary.
After the entry closing date on Sunday 19 March, three finalists will be shortlisted within each category by our esteemed judging panel.
The winners will then be announced at the awards, which takes place on Thursday, May 4 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Ferensway, Hull
Our host for the evening is Ben Hanlin
He is the star of his award winning ITV2 shows ‘Tricked’ and “Ben Hanlin’s Live & Deadly: Drowned” and has made a name for himself by tricking unsuspecting members of the public and shocking celebrities with his own special brand of cheeky magic, close-up conjuring and mind games Candid Camera-style.
In 2019 he was a semi finalist on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, which concluded just as the pandemic hit. Not ideal for any performer! Ben decided to move his skills online and his videos went viral. He now has over 2 million followers online, has gained 1 Billion views! and as a result has appeared on shows such as, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
